The Overall Effect

Image found on Wallpapercave
A curse, a look,
A thought, a hook,
A gossip, push or tale
Onto themselves
May not be much,
But hoarded they prevail
As wrath, as fear,
As lasting tear,
As suffering or doubt.
The way we feel
Is building up
From what we’re all about.
A curse, a look,
A thought, a hook,
A finger, taunt or rand
May bring relief
From time to time,
But adds up in the end.
A trust, a praise,
A hand, a grace,
A greeting, share or like,
Will indirectly
Pile up too;
In future day’s they spike
A joy, a laugh,
A calm, a love,
A friendship or respect.
To cure ourselves,
We must employ
The overall effect.
A choice, an aim,
A step, a flame,
A faithfulness and view
Will overhaul
Our days to come.
Adjust the things you do.
