Simply Always Waiting

Simply Always Waiting

Peace is all around,
But, as is its nature,
Doesn’t make a sound.
It’s, ‘cause it won’t feature,
Harder to be found.

Turmoil makes a noise.
Drawing our attention
When, as it destroys,
Causes a suspension
Of our conscious choice.

Peace demands a price.
To see its importance,
Redirect your eyes.
Witness the disturbance
As a mere devise.

Chaos leaves no rest
To the never learning.
Putting the oppressed,
As to boost their yearning,
Through the needed test.

Peace is always there,
Simply always waiting
For us all to care
And refuse the baiting
Of disorder’s stare.
